“Vibrational Patterns” is a story about acoustics, violinmaking, gender, and how we make sense of violins—all told through the story of Carleen Hutchins. It covers a lot of historical time and can get kind of technical when it comes to the science behind all of this, and I was thinking (hoping?) that it might leave people with questions.
